The legendary Groucho Club takes over The Oyster & Fish House for one night only!

On April 16th we welcome Executive Chef Erion Karaj to Lyme Regis as he co-hosts a very special evening with Mark.

After being a member of The Groucho Club for over 30 years, Mark became Director of Food and Beverage in 2023, working closely with the team to evolve the food and drink menus to celebrate the best of British produce and producers.

Erion and Mark will create a four course menu for the evening, with a Black Cow Negroni to start the night off in true Groucho-style.

Erion Karaj

Erion Karaj began his culinary career in London almost 20 years ago in 1999 while working a little Italian restaurant in Sloane Square, La Fontana. He then worked his way around Italian dining spots in Soho, learned to speak Italian and rose to the position of Head Chef by the age of 23.

In 2007, Erion began his long career with Gordon Ramsay Group starting at the Boxwood Cafe, before moving up to Plane Food, The Savoy Grill, and later, Executive Chef of Bread Street Kitchen. Erion then opened Heddon Street Kitchen in Regent Street and 3 restaurants around the world – Bread Street Kitchen in Hong Kong, Dubai and Singapore.

In 2018, Erion moved to the most famous private members in the UK – The Groucho Club. He has been working with Mark since 2023, redeveloping the menus in the club restaurants and private dining rooms.
